Mr. Imad Abu Haltam officially assumed his duties as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners on 09/21/2025.  He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Board Member of Abu Haltam Investments Group (General Deluxe) from 1996 until August 2025 in Amman, Jordan. He brings over twenty-five years of extensive experience in banking, investments, treasury, accounting, and strategic advisory, establishing himself as one of the leading financial executives in both the public and private sectors, in addition to his broad work with international institutions such as the World Bank.
Throughout his career, Abu Haltam has led financial policies, treasury management, and the development of accounting and taxation systems. He oversaw the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports while ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He played a pivotal role in structuring debt and financing instruments under optimal conditions for large-scale projects, as well as in enhancing corporate governance through the implementation of strong risk management and compliance frameworks.
Since 2018, Abu Haltam has been serving as a consultant to the World Bank on International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and investments. In this role, he designed credit and credit-rating policies for the Cities and Villages Development Bank, led feasibility studies and investment plans for municipal projects, and trained governmental financial and regulatory bodies in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, and Kurdistan on IPSAS adoption. He also worked as an advisor to the Greater Amman Municipality on investment evaluation and the transition to international standards.
In parallel, he collaborated with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in providing advanced training and consulting programs on IFRS for banks and corporations, significantly improving compliance and the quality of financial reporting.
His previous career experiences include serving as Chief Financial Officer at Standard Chartered Bank – Jordan between 2010 and 2012, where he spearheaded strategic planning and financial oversight, optimizing capital allocation to enhance returns on investment. He also served as Head of Finance and Strategic Planning at Arab Future Investment Company, leading mergers, acquisitions, valuation, and due diligence processes. At the Social Security Investment Fund, he was Executive Finance Director, managing an investment portfolio worth billions of Jordanian dinars and participating in the Investment and HR Committees during 2006–2007.
Additionally, Mr. Emad worked as a Treasury and Risk Management Advisor at the Arab Mining Company and as General Manager of Morgan International – Jordan, where he oversaw professional training programs for global certifications such as CPA, CMA, and CFA, among others.
Abu Haltam holds an impressive portfolio of prestigious professional qualifications. He is a licensed U.S. Certified Public Accountant (US CPA) in Arizona, a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Certified Financial Manager (CFM), a Jordanian Certified Public Accountant (JCPA), a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
On the professional volunteer front, he serves as a Board Member of the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants (JACPA), where he also held multiple board terms in the past. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
Abu Haltam is recognized as a strategic financial leader who combines deep practical expertise with forward-looking vision, enabling him to leave a clear mark in advancing financial and investment policies and strengthening institutional excellence in Jordan and the region.
Most recently, he has become active in media, producing more than 70 videos and Reels covering economic, financial, investment, and technological (Fintech) trends, targeting Jordan and the wider Arabic-speaking region.
