JSC holds a training course on international auditing standards related to the report of auditors of listed companies

The Chairman of the JSC, Muhammad Saleh Al-Hourani, affirmed the keenness of the capital market institutions that all the budgets of companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange apply the international auditing standards that must be included in the auditors’ reports, which will become effective at the end of the current year 2016.
This came in a comment on the holding of a training course organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission this morning at its headquarters under the title "Implementation of international auditing standards related to auditors' report on companies listed in the financial market" in the presence of senior officials of capital market institutions and a number of specialized employees, with the participation of more From 31 audit specialists, with the aim of informing participants of the most prominent changes that have occurred in the methods of financial treatment when preparing, reviewing and auditing budgets. The course was presented by the auditor of the Crimean Ruling and supervised by the Authority's financial advisor, Dr. Rafiq Dweik.
Al-Hourani said that the commission is very keen to apply standards in accordance with the latest international practices prevailing in global markets and stock exchanges, because this falls within the framework of the authority’s strategic goals, tasks and duties represented in protecting the investor, and keeping abreast of the current developments and developments in global markets to work on forming a sound, safe and attractive investment environment, and that service to the national economy. Al-Hourani added that the authority has been cooperating with the Association of Auditors for years in all areas related to preparing the budgets of public joint-stock companies and auditing them, which is witnessing a continuous development that the association is pursuing with high professionalism, noting that cooperation will continue with the association to reflect positively on the quality of the performance of participants and joint-stock companies in a way General.
It is noteworthy that the training course comes as part of the Authority’s endeavor towards fulfilling its commitment to social responsibility towards the local community, its strategic partners and stakeholders from various parties to create more awareness through early access to all modern global developments and practices in various fields related to the work of the Authority and the investment and legislative environment regulating the  work of Public shareholding companies.
