Jordan Securities Commission Receives a Delegation from the Iranian Surveillance Commission

On Wednesday March 30.2011, the Chairman of Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) Dr. Bassam Saket received a delegation from the Iranian Surveillance Commission at (JSC) headquarters.
The Iranian delegation was chaired by Dr. Ali Salehabadi, accompanied by the Deputy Chairman for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Sayed Hosseinihaghighat & by the Chairman Advisor Dr. Bagher Taherianfar.
The visit of the Iranian delegation to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan comes within their participation in the ‘Ninth Annual Meeting of the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB)’ that was held in Amman during March 30-31.2011.
The intention of receiving the Iranian delegation is to foster cooperation ties between the Jordanian & the Iranian delegations & to view mechanisms used in capital market institutions & the effective legislations.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) Mr. Jalil Tarif & by the Economic Attaché’ of the Iranian Embassy in Jordan.
