Companies Failing to Provide Jordan Securities Commission with the 2013 Annual Report or the Certified Financial Statements until April 29.2014

Jordan Securities Commission JSC granted time to 11 traded companies that failed to provide it with the 2013 Annual Report or the certified Financial Statements.

By virtue of the provisions of Article (43/A-1) of the Securities Law stipulating the following:

"Every Issuer shall file with the Commission an Annual Report including Financial Statements certified by an auditor, within 90 days of the end of its fiscal year" and by virtue of the provisions of Article (4) of the Instructions to Disclosure stipulating the following:

"The Board of Directors of the Issuing Company shall prepare the Company's Annual Report within three months from the Company's fiscal year and shall provide the Commission therewith", (64) companies failed to provide the Commission with the 2013 Annual Report or the certified Financial Statements according to the specified period of time in the aforementioned Articles.  
 
The following is a list of names of companies that failed to provide the JSC with the 2013 Annual Report or the certified Financial Statements until April 29.2014.
The Commission shall enhance the principle of disclosure and transparency as well as protect investors and the public interest via regulating and monitoring disclosure, including disclosures of Public Shareholding Companies PSC Annual Reports and any other periodic disclosures in their specified dates. It also stressed on traded companies (from 1 to 11 stated in Table (1))) that failed to provide it with the 2013 Annual Report to submit it within 10 working days of the date of notifying the company and that it shall take further measures stipulated in the Securities Law including suspension of traded shares.
  
The Commission wishes all PSC to comply with the provisions of the Securities Law and instructions issued pursuant thereto.
