Jordan Securities Commission Holds Awareness Workshop on Digital Identity, Digital Signatures, and the Sanad Application

On Monday, November 2, 2026, the Jordan Securities Commission (JSC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, held a virtual awareness workshop attended by 108 participants representing financial services companies, custodians, investment companies, and mutual investment funds.

The workshop covered the use of the Sanad application and the Verifier platform to verify digital identities and authenticate electronic documents. It also addressed the requirements for adopting digital identities and digital signatures, procedures for integrating electronic systems with the Sanad application, and related technical and legal inquiries.

This workshop forms part of JSC’s ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation, streamline procedures, and enhance electronic services provided to market participants and investors in Jordan’s capital market.
