The Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) held the workshop at its headquarters on Sunday afternoon. The workshop, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, aimed to highlight the mechanisms for verifying digital and electronic documents for clients and investors. This is in accordance with the amended Electronic Transactions Law and the Civil Status Law of 2026, where verification is conducted through the electronic verification link (https://verifier.gov.jo ) provided by the Ministry.
The workshop was inaugurated by the Deputy Chairman of the JSC, HE. Engineer Elias Ayoub Zoreikat , who delivered a welcoming address. He commended the efforts made to provide a digital infrastructure that enables institutions to develop their operations and services, enhances trust in digital and electronic transactions, and saves time, money, and effort.
It is worth noting that this step aligns with the Cabinet's directives regarding the establishment of digital transformation as a mandatory pathway for government services, simplifying procedures, reducing reliance on paper documents, and accepting electronic documents within official procedures.
