Jordan Securities Commission Achieves Seal of Excellence of The King Abdullah II Award for Excellence

Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) achieved the Seal of Excellence Category, in The King Abdullah II Award for Excellence in Government Performance and Transparency for the 2012-2013 Cycle under the Category of Institutions Participating more than once.
HE Mr Mohammed Saleh Hourani, Chairman of the (JSC) attributed this achievement to the employees and extended his deepest gratitude. He hoped their distinguished efforts and work to create a pioneering institutional model as well as their commitment to develop and to encourage creativity and the core values emphasizing on serving citizens and achieving best results will continue.
Furthermore, HE Mr Hourani said that the Commission was able to achieve this Category in its last Cycle by cooperating and coordinating thoroughly with external partners and benefiting from service recipients observations and evaluations as well as engaging employees in the planning and administrative development. All the Commission’s Departments and Bureaus engaged their employees in processes related to arrangement and preparation, either in preparing work plans or performance indicators or work procedures of their departments.
This achievement is an incentive to them to work further and to enhance the Commission’s work and services provided to citizens, HE Mr Hourani added. He also emphasized the importance of having legislations, tools and mechanisms to enable institutions to maintain excellence in performance and to encourage employees to achieve higher institutional and national goals.
The Commission participated in The King Abdullah II Award for Excellence in Government Performance and Transparency for the first time in 2005 and achieved the First Rank under the Category of Institutions Participating for the First Time. During its participation in previous year’s Cycles, it achieved various advanced ranks in the Award’s Categories.
