UK Ambassador and Chairman of Jordan Securities Commission Discuss Enhancing Investment and Cooperation

UK Ambassador to Jordan Mr. Philip Hall and Head of Middle East and Africa Primary Markets MEAPM at London Stock Exchange Group LSEG, Mr. Abi Ajayi, met with Chairman of Jordan Securities Commission JSC, Mr. Emad Abu Haltam and members of the Board of Commissioners Dr. Mohammad Jaradat, Eng. Elias Zoreikat and Eng. Alaa Al-Din Al-Zoubi during a working visit to JSC’s headquarters, to discuss ways to enhance investment, cooperation and communication as well as, coordination on capital markets issues in our friendly countries.
They discussed key challenges and issues of mutual interest and proposed solutions to develop and enhance cooperation and coordination between securities commissions, financial markets and stock exchanges in various areas. The Ambassador was briefed as well, on latest developments and achievements in legislative, regulatory and technological areas in JSC and the financial market.
The meeting concluded with presenting JSC’s commemorative shield to UK Ambassador and Head of MEAPM at LSEG.
