Jordan Participates in the Meeting of the Council of the Union of Arab Securities Authorities in Doha

Jordan participated in the 18th Annual Meeting of the Council of the Union of Arab Securities Authorities and the Third Arab Capital Markets Conference, which took place in Doha, Qatar, on April 24 and 25. Jordan was represented by the Chairman of the Jordan Securities Commission, Dr. Adel Sharaf El-Din Bino.

During this meeting, the Council of the Union, with the participation of 16 member states, including Jordan, discussed several issues related to best practices in combating money laundering and terrorist financing, guidelines for crowdfunding in Arab capital markets, general rules for sustainability in Arab capital markets, guidelines for enhancing cybersecurity, and the needs of Union members in the fields of financial technology and cybersecurity.

A number of economic and financial decision-makers, leaders of Arab, regional, and international financial institutions, a select group of financial experts and analysts, major investors, university professors, artificial intelligence experts, and representatives of regulatory and supervisory bodies and Arab and international financial markets will discuss the future trends in the relationship between artificial intelligence and the management of Arab capital markets during the third Arab Capital Markets Conference, which will be held tomorrow, Thursday, under the theme "Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, and Sustainability: Opportunities and Challenges."

The conference will also examine the growing role of artificial intelligence in implementing governance, financial sustainability, and social responsibility in these markets, in addition to the increasing importance of technological advancements in managing the risks facing Arab capital markets.

By bringing together artificial intelligence experts and financial market experts, the conference aims to achieve the best possible investment in technology within Arab capital markets.
