Training Program on Inspection Systems & Techniques of Parties subject to the Commission’s Monitoring on June 2.2013

Between May 29-30.2013, Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) held a Training Program in its headquarter related to the Inspection Systems, Techniques, Investigations & Executions of Parties subject to the Commission’s Monitoring.
The Commission’s Training Program is held in cooperation with the Union of Arab Securities Authorities (UASA) Mutual Exchange of Information Program organized by the General Secretariat of the Union, cooperating with Members of the Union & the participation of a number of brotherly Arab countries, such as Iraq, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Oman & the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as capital market institutions.
Chairman of the Commission HE Mr Mohammed Saleh Hourani, inaugurated the Training Program & hailed such programs aiming to increase awareness & exchange experiences & opinions among participants.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) Mr Nader Azer presented the experience of (ASE) in monitoring & inspection. Mr Azer stressed that implementing sound monitoring & Inspection Systems are essential to save time, money & effort on monitoring entities later on.
The Training Program dealt with various issues relevant to Financial Services Companies (FSCs) including, licensed businesses & inspection, as well as legal issues relevant to inspection, investigation techniques & execution, Compliance Officers & their role in inspection on (FSCs). Furthermore, it presented & discussed real cases occurring in the (ASE).
At the end of the Training Program, certificates were distributed on participants.

It represents a professional conglomerate including Arab countries having monitoring entities on stock exchanges such as, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco & Algeria & the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, as well as other countries like, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Syria & Lebanon.
