JSC Publishes on its Electronic Website a Draft Project of the Securities Law

In order to develop the national capital market, cope with legislative, technical & technological developments that the financial markets sector is witnessing on the international level & apply the most up-to-date standards & international best practices, Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) in cooperation with a team of professional experts, prepared a Draft Project on the currently enforced Securities Law No. (76) For the Year 2002. JSC took into account while introducing these amendments, the most up to date issues in the securities industry, & amendments that the practical implementation of the previous Securities Law necessitated these additions.
While drafting this Law, JSC bear in mind to secure a legislative & economic environment in the market through benefitting from international markets past experiences. As well as, from JSC’s legislative experience in Jordan, where it took into account suggestions provided by professionals & employees.   
And, to benefit from various viewpoints, JSC published on its electronic website the ‘Draft Project of the Securities Law’ to enable employees & concerned parties in the market to state their opinions & viewpoints concerning this Project within one week of publication.
