Jordan Securities Commission Registers New Securities on May 21.2013

On May 21.2013 Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) Board of Commissioners chaired by HE Mr Mohammed Saleh Hourani decided by virtue of the provisions of Article (5) of the Securities Law No. (76) for the year 2002, to approve registration of the following securities & to address the Securities Depository Center (SDC) to register them, respectively:
 
1. Twenty sixth issuance of Jordanian Treasury Bonds for the year 2013 at a maturity date on April 28.2015, at a value of JD (50) million.
2. Twenty seventh issuance of Jordanian Treasury Bonds for the year 2013 at a maturity date on April 30.2016, at a value of JD (75) million.

Furthermore, the Board decided to approve the following procedures shall Public Shareholding Companies fail to provide the Commission with on time periodic financial statements:

1. Suspend the trading in shares of Members of the Board of Directors & the General & the Financial Managers, whether trading for their own benefit or through non public shareholding companies controlled by them & until the reason for suspension ceases.  
2. Suspend the trading in shares of Members of the Board of Directors & the General & the Financial Managers whom were elected or assigned, after the JSC’s Board of Commissioners decision to suspend it & until the reason for suspension ceases.
3. Pursue to suspend the trading in shares of Members of the Board of Directors whose membership expired & the General & Financial Managers whom services are terminated, for six months of the date of membership expiry or services terminated.  
4. This decision shall be published on the main pages of the websites of the (JSC) & the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE). It shall be circulated to all Public Shareholding Companies & Financial Services Companies, including the List of Companies in which trading in shares was suspended for the Members of the Board of Directors & the General & Financial Managers for filling to provide the Commission with on time periodic financial statements.
