Saket Meets with Officers from the Royal Air Defense School

Within Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) efforts to keep in touch with relevant professionals from various sectors of society, (JSC) Chairman Dr Bassam Saket met with the Commander of the Royal Air Defense School and Officers from the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting which took place at (JSC) headquarters aimed to provide a training program for Air Defense Officers. Generally speaking, (JSC) conducts training programs from time to time that aim to deepen the culture of investment for entities and individuals and to highlight key developments and progress in the national capital market.
During the meeting Dr Saket emphasized, ‘that communicating with security sectors function as a chain and a bridge between (JSC), public and private institutions. He elaborated further, that (JSC) is a public entity concerned since its establishment in promoting investments. And, since (JSC) acts according to best practices and international standards, the ratio of non Jordanian ownership in market value increased to approximately 50%. The (JSC) strongly believes that local and foreign investors are developmental partners concerned in the role of law and respecting standards’.
Dr Saket stressed ‘(JSC) appreciation and respect for the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) and for the Public Security Sector (PSS). He indicated that we consider them partners in the development process; the loyalty of every citizen is measured according to his/her cooperation with them. And, in order to protect national security in its wide concept, (JSC) has been working hand in hand with the (JAF) and the (PSS).  Acquainting this vital Sector of developments taking place in the capital market gives us a chance to exchange professional knowledge both legislatively and financially about national institutions and to share experiences to protect investors. Moreover, acquainting this Sector of national institutions having a central role in attracting investments to the capital market; an essential base of a renewable economy’.
