JSC holds a training workshop for issue managers and trustees

The Chairman of the Securities Authority, Muhammad Saleh Al-Hourani, affirmed that the Authority will continue to assume its national responsibilities to develop and develop the capital market, enhance confidence in it, protect investors, and enhance investment awareness among all parties dealing with it. From this point of view, the JSC organizes a training workshop for those wishing to practice the profession of issue managers and trustees as they are a party to the process of dealing in securities, where successful completion of this course is a requirement to obtain a license to practice the profession.
This came during the inauguration of the training workshop held by the Securities Commission this afternoon at its headquarters under the title "Qualification and Training of Secretaries and Managers of the Issue of Securities" with the participation of more than 115 participants and will last for 8 working days.
Al-Hourani said that the workshop aims to enhance investment awareness among those wishing to work in this profession, develop their investment culture, update their information and inform them of what is new and required to work in accordance with new legislative developments and the tasks and duties required of them, in order to keep pace with international specifications and standards in business practices, tasks and duties of managers and secretaries of issue and to support The capital market with qualified technical cadres and new experiences capable of performing the tasks required of them to the fullest.
The workshop focused on familiarizing the participants with the legal legislation in force in the capital market, especially the new legal aspects of Securities Law No. 18 of 2017, issuance management instructions, the stages and requirements for licensing to practice the profession, issues, concepts and basic skills for dealing in securities, listing and issuing them, including financing instruments. In addition to a general idea of the tasks and duties performed by the capital market institutions.
