Jordan Securities Commission Board of Commissioners Receive Officials from the Central Bank of Jordan & Anti Money Laundering & Counter Terrorist Financing Unit

Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) Board of Commissioners held a meeting chaired by H.E Mr. Mohammed Saleh Hourani with officials from the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) & Anti Money Laundering & Counter Terrorist Financing Unit (AML & CTFU). The meeting highlights (JSC) role of protecting investors & dealers in Jordan capital market & enhancing the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between (JSC) & (CBJ).
At the onset of the meeting, Chairman of (JSC) Mr. Hourani indicated the importance of mutual efforts to provide a secure & developed investment environment thus, enhancing the trust in the national economy & protecting investors & dealers in the securities market.
Cooperation between the two entities shall be enhanced in order to pursue Banking Risks of Financial Services Companies in banks & to develop a strategy to run Public Debt. It shall also enhance to pursue Financial Sector Risks & to develop the bonds market in cooperation with relevant entities.
