Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) issued a circular to Financial Services Companies (FSC) to renew licenses and technical registrations granted to Registered Persons for the year 2015. Companies need also to renew their bank guarantees provided to the JSC by virtue of the provisions of the Securities Law and the Instructions to Financial Services Licensing and Registration for the year 2005 related to renewing the licenses of FSC and their bank guarantees provided to the JSC.
The JSC informed all FSC to renew their granted licenses and registrations to Registered Persons for the year 2015 by submitting their renewal applications prior to ending of November 2014. Otherwise, these shall expire by December 31.2014 by virtue of the provisions of the Securities Law.
2015 shall be the first year that FSC renew their licenses and Registered Persons via inputting all relevant data electronically on the Electronic Licensing System, otherwise renewal applications are unacceptable.
