Chairman of the Jordan Securities Commission Participates in the Inauguration of the Security Operations Centre (SOC LAB) at Princess Sumaya University for Technology

Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bent El Hassan, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, inaugurated the Security Operations Centre (SOC LAB) in the presence of the Chairman of the Jordan Securities Commission, H.E. Mr. Emad Abu Haltam, and the President of the University, Prof. Wajdan Abu Al-Haija, alongside senior officials and representatives from the financial and technology sectors.
The ceremony was arranged in 7th May, 2026 at PSUT, was also attended by the CEO of the Jordan Kuwait Bank Group, Mr. Haitham Al-Bataykhi, members of the University’s Board of Trustees and deans, the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, the Chairman of the Social Security Investment Fund, and representatives from leading information technology companies in Jordan.
The laboratory was established through a collaborative partnership between Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Jordan Kuwait Bank, and the companies Afaq Hayyan and Protech, with the aim of strengthening national cybersecurity capabilities and providing an advanced practical training environment to support the development of specialized talent in this vital field.
